Inventionland Institute Makerspace: The Kiski School

Image

Last spring, my alma mater, The Kiski School in Saltsburg, PA, became the first school to participate in our Inventionland Institute exclusive curriculum. This semester, Kiski students are continuing our coursework in a custom three-room makerspace, designed and furnished by our own Inventionland team.

The space will feature sound-proofed walls, a laser etcher and other hands-on power tools, and fully stocked workbenches. A 3D printer, a green screen, and computer graphics software will enable students to explore the Storytelling element of our Inventionland Institute curriculum to the fullest.

The space will support the school’s emphasis on “doing, creating, and innovating” with cutting-edge technology and a wide array of tools and resources. I’m proud to work with bright young innovators and I’m looking forward to their brilliant work to come.

Congrats, Kiski!
