Pet Food Donation to BREW
Last month, our friends at Hugs Pet Products, who have licensed several pet products designed by Davison, introduced the Paula Deen Hugs Premium Select Pet Food. Since August, the product has sold on both Deen and Hugs’ website, in K-VA-T food stores in Kentucky, Virginia, and Tennessee.
Recently, we worked with Hugs Pet Products to organize a pet food donation to the Midwest Beagle Rescue, Education, and Welfare (BREW), which helps to match beagles with responsible, permanent pet-owners, in addition to providing medical care, training, and boarding in partnership with local resources.
BREW, run entirely by volunteers, also works to educate the community on pet-ownership, positive behavior training, and proper nutrition. For this reason, we donated bags of the new pet food to BREW, where most dogs eat 1-2 cups of dry food each day. The organization was deserving and thrilled.
I am happy to highlight BREW’s work in our community and beyond. We will continue to offer support to this cause. Thanks to all who helped with the donation.
